@tykoon123 it's probably a false alarm, the uploader is lucky cause he's TRUSTED, last week I uploaded a torrent under "mazigh" account, and one of the mods banned me in 20 minutes.. so my account is deleted!, I'm pretty sure that it was a false alarm on patchs for "POWER LASSO PRO" software... cause ... I got the software from a trusted website and I wanted to share it as CARING... hélas... but I can't do nth :/

bitdefender will register any program altering exe (eg a crack) as a harmful file so if it is a crack then you usually dont have anything to worry about,just set your torrent folder as an exclusion zone in bitdefender and download if anything does leak out ditdef will find it and kill it then you can delete the original file

Solution for the "you can not download an older version. visit our website for the latest version" is:

Download this torrent then download latest version from their official site. Install and after that past the crack from this torrent to the install folder. Then go registrate and use the serial key in the torrent.

Doesn't work for me. When I run the crack, it tells me that "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item." Doesn't matter whether I run as Admin or not.

-instalar esta version,
-abrirlo,
-actualizar a la version actual,
-cerrar el programa,
-copiar el archivo del crack donde esta instalado el programa,
-volver a abrirlo y
-registrarse con el serial que esta en este torrent.

And this is not a Heuristic detection. As KIS rarely gives FPs, i am sure this is a malware. Can someone knowledgeable (about malwares) confirm this?

Update: Contacted Kaspersky technical support about possibility of this crack file being a false positive. Got a reply from them saying that "it is a false positive detection" and just after receiving my mail they have whitelisted this file. So final verdict : This file is 100% safe... Whoever uses kaspersky, update ur definitions and scan again, it will come clean.

It works if you download the new one, and when you install it do not click run now or finish.
And go try to delete a file in temp files YouTubeDownloaderToolbarStub.It will install in your browser and try to hijack it.If you delete the file before you close the installer it does nothing obviously because the file is gone and it can't run it.No trojan scanned with Avast and malwarebytes.

This does not work, yeah, maybe 1-2 times.It will check for updates of new version everytime you start it.If you block that request it wont download the videos.If you uninstall it, puts file on system, greys out the registration.You can never register it again.Its not working.if you can't properly crack the file to stop this, to jump the checks, then why upload it?

its true that it will not work hereafter since it is a old version.but folllow my steps to make it work.
1)download the latest version of youtube downloader.
2)change the crack name as ytd.exe(since the name of latest version is ytd and not youtube downloader)
3)now copy and replace
4)open and enter the key
5)remember to click the remind me next time each time you open the ytd
6)this time it will work for sure.no failed error

and then u need to follow few steps,
click help and select the registration and now you need to insert the serial key.
now folks u can enjoy 100 % of hd downlods..

When you first install as per vicky instructions, you have to allow it to connect to the internet ONLY when you do the serial.Do not allow it access when its insalling, only on when you do the serial.Or it will say communication error try again later.There after every time you start it up it will mess the install if it can connect to internet.So before you shut it down block its Internet access.Then once its started allow it access because it needs access to download the youtube videos.

This is no longer working should be removed.Even now if you download the new 3.9 version, and over write with crack from 3.5, it will just say failed all the time.It worked up to a few days ago, so developer has disabled it from downloading from youtube.There is new 3.9 one here.
